Which INNOVA Longarm Quilting Machine Is Right For You?

Innova makes many different machines and options so that every quilter has a choice that suits their individual needs. We understand that there are many different types of quilters, so every option is made available depending on needs.

At Quilts on the Corner, we want to provide you with all the information that you need to make the best choice for your quilting needs, budget, space and future quilting plans. We offer 4 different sizes of stand up longarm machines, to fit any budget, and customization for any quilter. Computerization is easy to add on to a new or existing machine. We even offer our patented Pantovision T2 option for pantographs. Our INNOVA quilting systems include all the basics that you need. Innova longarms include basics like leaders and bobbin winders so you can start sewing from day 1. We also have many additional options for quilters who want all the bells and whistles. This allows you to tailor your machine to suit you without paying for options you won't use. All of the INNOVA Longarms come with the top of the line Lightning Stitch regulator, excellent warranty coverage, 24/7 service and world class training.

The space necessary to house a stand up longarm machine frame will often determine the quilters choice of machine and length of frame. The length of the frame, not the size of the machine, will determine the size of the quilt that can be quilted. Below is a chart with mattress/quilt sizes. Generally speaking, a 12' frame will accommodate a king sized quilt and a 10' frame is necessary to quilt queen sized quilts.

FRAME: You can choose any frame length you like. This make INNOVA a great choice for quilters who have a limited sized area but want the frame as long as possible. If you have a nook that is 10' 4"....we can custom design the frame to maximize that area.

What about the size of the sewhead?

Most quilters who like to work free motion prefer to select a longarm that fits them! That means that a shorter person with a smaller reach might consider size as a factor. The most popular free motion sizes are 24'' and smaller- M Series are designed to glide smoothly and are weighted to make quilting all day even easier! But we can size your frame to the perfect height or get you set up with a lift so you can maximize all the space you want to use!

Computerized quilting is great for custom work! It's also a fantastic option for doing highly popular Edge to Edge quilting- and in that case, bigger is better! We love the 28'' M28 Innovas for getting lots of quilts done!

Looking for both? The M24 hits the sweet spot between maximizing size for E2E work and providing the best all around options for Free Motion quilters! Talk to us about what YOU are looking for and test out all the sizes in our shop- hands on tests can't be replicated online!
