In 2009, Renae Haddadin moved her home quilting business into a little shop on the corner of Main Street in historic Sandy, Utah. With two longarm machines and help from her sister Vicki and friend Janene, Quilts on the Corner was born. 

As Quilts on the Corner grew, she saw a need for a faster (and less painful) way to attach quilts to the longarm leaders. Red Snappers were invented in 2011 and changed the way quilters load their quilts. Shortly after, Red E Edge clamps joined the team to help support the sides of quilts while quilting.

An opportunity in 2014, led Renae and Mike to become the Innova dealers for the area and the shop on the corner grew again. They expanded into the entire building.  Since then QOTC has continued to expand and now has the largest selection of wide quilt back fabric in Salt Lake.

To better serve customers in Idaho, My Quilting Corner opened in Boise in 2019. 

In 2022 the little shop grew again!  Next to Quilts on the Corner, we added Yarn on the Corner.  A place that offers high quality yarn, notions and Schacht Spinning and Weaving products.
