Step by Step Cardigan

The Step by Step Cardigan is a classic raglan cardigan, perfect as one of your first sweater knitting projects. It is knitted from the top down, and the sleeves are knitted in the round. The simple design is finished with clean double knitted edges.

The prerequisite for this class is that you need to know how to cast on, knit and purl.

This class will be held on December 6th from 2:00-4:00 and January 24th from 2:00-4:00

Come to the first class with a gauge swatch knitted. If you need help or advice on this please let us know. We will discuss gauge and refine the knitting if necessary to achieve the perfectly sized sweater. We will discuss adjusting the fit slightly if necessary.

We have built in seven weeks to knit the body of the sweater. In the second session we will focus on the button band, button holes and bind off. 

This is a great first sweater project if you have been knitting for a little while and you are ready to up your game.
