Layla Cardigan
Layla is a cozy, oversized cardi/vest—a hug you can wear! It's crafted seamlessly from the bottom-up with trusty worsted-weight yarn, making it a layering superstar. We're diving into the "1-row stripes" option to master the art of 1-row, 2-color stripes. This pattern is by Elizabeth Smith.
This will be a three part class:
Part 1 - Aug 16th - Hem and start the body. Mastering the art of 1-row, 2-color stripes.
Part 2 - Sept 27th - Underarm divide and shoulder shaping.
Part 3 - Nov 1st - Joining shoulders, picking up for arm bands and neck band.
There is some homework required before class.
Pick your size. Find the yarn you'd like to work with. (We use Malabrigo - Rios - worsted weight) Knit and wash gauge swatch.
