Then join this Take a Stand Bag class and learn all of the skills needed to design and sew up your own bag. Learn how to work with foam, zippers, strapping and bind those pesky seams with ease for a beautiful bag you will be proud to show off and use.
Join us and instructor Vanessa Moon for a 3 session class where you be able to create a bag from start to finish. Find out that making your own bag is not as hard as you might think.

| Requirements: | Supplies Required for each student: Take a Stand Pattern from By Annie available from Quilts on the Corner Main Fabric: .75 yard Lining Fabric: .75 yard Coordinating Fabric: .75 yard Soft and Stable Foam: 18 inch x 58 inch Fusible Interfacing: 2 inch x 11.5 inch Mesh Fabric: 12 inch x 13 inch 24 inch zipper and 40 inch double pull zipper 1 inch strapping: 2.25 yds 1 inch bag hardware: 2 - D rings, 2 - swivel hooks, 1- wide mouth slider Fold over elastic 20mm wide: 1.5 yards Thread to match fabric Binding clips - 30+ Marking pen- chalk or Sewline Air Erasable Pen Basic Sewing Kit that includes pins, scissors, and rotary cutter Ruler Sewing machine and power cord- 90/14 needles are helpful to sew through all of the layers Zipper Foot .25 inch seam foot Walking Foot is helpful All supplies available for purchase at Quilts on the Corner |
