Weaving on a Cricket Loom

You will learn basic terminology for a rigid heddle loom and the tools needed to weave. We will then set up (dress) the loom, and start weaving a scarf using one color of variegated yarn. The goal is to have the scarf finished in class. If it is not possible to finish in class, our goal is that you will have a solid understanding so that you can finish it yourself.

Supplies required:
A Cricket Loom
A pair of scissors
tapestry needle
warp separators (enough for 92")
tape measure
scrap yarn
rubber band to anchor the heddle to the loom

2 skeins worsted weight variegated or multi color yarn - one for warp, one for weft

All supplies will be available for purchase at Yarn on the Corner
