class and learn all of the skills needed to design and sew up your own bag. Learn how to work
with foam, cover strapping with pretty fabric, and bind those pesky seams with ease for a
beautiful bag you will be proud to show off and use.

| Requirements: | Supplies Required for each student: Quilter’s Big Tote pattern by Minki Kim available from Quilts on the Corner 1/2 yard of dark fabric for patchwork on outside of bag 1/2 yard of light fabric for patchwork on outside of bag Fat Quarter of dark fabric for the base 1 yard of fabric for the lining 1 yard of Soft and Stable 2 yards of 1 1/2” Strapping Thread to match fabric Binding clips Fabric glue such as Roxanne's Glue Baste-it or Elmer’s washable glue Marking pen- chalk or Sewline Air Erasable Pen Basic Sewing Kit that includes pins, scissors, and rotary cutter Ruler Sewing machine and power cord- 90/14 needles are helpful to sew through all of the layers |
