Metamorphic Dress Class
This class is perfect for complete beginners & people who have sewn in the past but need a refresher, where they will learn how to competently use a sewing machine and complete a dress from a commercial pattern!
During this course you will learn:
· all of the necessary sewing terminology & equipment
· how to read a commercial pattern
· how to identify fabric grain lines
· different types of stitches & seam finishes you can complete using a sewing machine!
This class is all day 10am-4pm. Make sure to bring a lunch. We have a refrigerator and microwave available for use by students.

| Requirements: | You will need to bring a sewing machine with presser feet, foot pedal and basic sewing supplies (Scissors for cutting fabric, scissors for snipping thread, dressmaking pins, tape measure, thread to match dress fabric, extra bobbin). Irons will be available for use. 2 1/2 yards fabric for top layer 2 5/8 yards fabric for under layer |
