Are you a new or seasoned knitter wanting to learn how to fixes your mistakes? Tired of knitting mistakes slowing you down? Do you find holes or messy areas in your projects? This is the class for you!
You will learn how to identify:
Basic Stitches
Correct Stitch Orientation
Common Mistakes and How to Approach Them
Techniques for Avoiding Mistakes
With these skills, you can be a confident knitter! There is homework to do before class.
Materials
2 sets of needles (Approximately US 7 or 8) for the following:
A 4" × 4" worsted weight Stockinette Stitch swatch in light colored yarn, DO NOT bind of, leave on needles [Completed prior to class]
A 4" x 4" worsted weight Garter Stitch swatch in light colored yarn, DO NOT bind off, leave on needles [Completed prior to class]

| Instructor Bio: | Hello, my name is Casey, and I'm excited to share my passion for knitting with you! I grew up in Holladay, UT, spending most of my time reading, drawing, painting, crafting and spending time with a yardful of animals. In high school, I joined FFA (formerly Future Farmers of America) and developed a passion for fiber animals and teaching. After getting my degree in Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Science at USU, I discovered knitting! I only wish I'd found it sooner! I began knitting in 2022 and jumped in with both feet. After a year of teaching knitting, and taking a break to enjoy the holidays, I'm ready to knit with you! |
