Christmas Stocking Class October 15 & 29

This is a great class to learn the basics of sock knitting with out the worry of it fitting your foot.
This is a 2 part class broken into 2 hours each.

In this class you will learn-
Knitting a sock top down
Structure of a sock
Knitting in the round holding yarn double
Making jogless stripes when changing yarn color
The magic of the heel and heel turn
Picking up stitches for the gusset

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Must know how to cast on, knit, purl, k2tog and ssk decrease.
Materials Included: All supplies can be purchased the day of or prior to the class
Requirements: Supplies: Cascade 220 - 2 balls of main color (220 yds each), 1 ball for contrasting stripe and 1 ball for cuff, heel and toe. Or any other worsted weight yarn to meet the yarn requirements. Stitch markers tapestry needle Needles- US 9 16" circular US 10 16" circular And a set of US 10 DPN's.
Instructor: Kim Angus
Instructor Bio: Kim has been knitting for 9+ years. Her favorite knitting projects are socks and sweaters. Most of all she loves helping others learn the art of knitting. Some of her other hobbies are gardening and photography.
