Longarm Rental Class at Quilts on the Corner

Longarm Rental Quilting Class Cost: $150 (Includes Rental For The Rest Of That Day) + $5 Thread Fee

This private, hands-on class is taught on our Innova Longarm stitch regulated machine. You will learn how to prepare your top, batting and backing, load your quilt, as well as the basics of using a longarm quilting machine. We will also cover basic free motion movements and how to quilt an overall pattern using a pantograph. This class will take about 2 1/2 hours.  The rest of your day is used to quilt a project of your choice.

We teach you how to set up a pantograph and work through the quilt, aligning each row for a beautiful result.

By the end of the class you will be able to quilt an overall design on your quilt. You may opt to purchase a quilt kit to practice on or bring your own quilt to use. Please don't start with your prized quilt. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of how the machine moves, but before you know it you will be loving your results.

Once you have taken this class you will be certified to rent our Innova Longarm and quilt your own quilts whenever the rental machine is available.
