Quilts on the Corner is a small business looking for friendly, dedicated and dependable employees. We focus on superior customer service and sharing excitement for our products and customer projects. We specialize in Longarm Quilting, wide back fabric and selling INNOVA Longarm machines. We are seeking candidates for Customer Care/Sales Associate positions.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in store and on the telephone.
- Assist customers with quilting designs, thread options and backing fabrics.
- Create transactions for merchandise with attention to accuracy. Accept payments by cash or credit card.
- Maintain a tidy work environment.
- Keep merchandise organized and clean. Vacuum, dust, empty trash, clean counters, tables and other work areas.
- Complete tasks as assigned.
- Work as a team to create and maintain a pleasant environment for shoppers and staff.
- Learn to quilt on our Longarm machines for customers.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including an approachable and friendly manner.
- Good time and task management skills, including prioritizing and changing tasks easily.
- Feel comfortable using a computer.
- Able to work 3-4 days per week, 9:30am – 5pm, including Saturdays.
- Ability to use a step stool, stock products and stand for several hours at a time.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Sewing experience is preferred.
